Dr. Kareem Mohammed is a Consultant Nephrologist. He is head of Nephrology and Dialysis Center in Iranain Hospital. He graduated from the prestigious Iraqi Board where he earned his doctor of medicine degree in internal medicine.
He holds the fellowship of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN) and an Iraqi Fellowship in Nephrology. He is a member of International Society of Nephrology in the United Arab Emirates and Arab Society of nephrology and kidney transplant.
Dr. Kamil commenced his career as consultant nephrologist and internist at the Al Kindi Teaching hospital in Baghdad, Iraq more than decades. He published several articles in international and national publications. He have been treating nephrotic and nephrotic syndrome glomerulonephritis.
Dr. Kamil’s main interests involve renal failure, hypertension & collagen vascular disease proteinuria, renal disease with pregnancy and dialysis, and performing kidney biopsy, follow up patients with kidney transplant and their donors.
He is expertis in creation of vascular access for acute and long-term hemodialysis.
Dr. Kareem have been performing plasma exchange (plasmapheresis) for nephrology and neurology disease.
