Dr Kourosh Javdani is an emergency specialist and board certified in emergency medicine in 2010.He is also BLS, PALS, ATLS and ACLS certified. He specializes in advanced cardiac life support, resuscitation, trauma care such as fractures and soft tissue injuries and management of other life threatening situations in emergency department and ICU. A postgraduate in Emergency Medicine from Iran and having medical degree from University of Tehran, Iran, he has extensive experience in Iran and the UAE.
He is expertise in:
• Diagnostic and therapeutic pleural tap
• Abdominal paracentesis
• Central venous catheterization (femoral, subclavian, and jugular)
• Chest tube insertion
• Airway management (endotracheal intubation, LMA, ILMA, mechanical ventilation management , tracheostomy, crichothyrotomy …)
• Surgical procedures (abscess incision drainage, in growing nail management, … )
• Orthopedic procedures( wound management, joint dislocation management , Artherocentesis)
• Lumbar puncture
• Temporary Pacemaker
• Conscious sedation ( IV sedation )
• Local and regional anesthesia
