Pediatrics & Neonatology
Our mission is to protect and improve your child’s health. Pediatric and Neonatology Department at Iranian Hospital provides comprehensive care to newborn babies and children up to the age of adolescence.
In Patient Services:
Children who are sick and need hospitalization are admitted in the ward. We have well equipped ward with well trained nursing staff. The Pediatric Ward also has VIP rooms, private rooms and isolation room.
Nursery Department:
We have a well equipped Nursery, supported by caring neonatal nursing staff, which helps in initiating breast feeding and other routine newborn baby care.
Neonatologist visits newborn and babies are given vaccination at birth as per U.A.E. immunization schedule.
All newborn are followed up in O.P.D. Clinic for growth and development assessment, congenital hearing loss screening test (audiometry) and routine vaccinations. Neonatal screening tests for congenital diseases are done for babies born in Iranian Hospital.
Sick Babies:
For sick neonates, we have a well equipped NICU with incubators, mechanical ventilators, intensive phototherapy units and well trained nursing staff.
Infants and Children:
We manage emergencies, as well as acute and chronic problems of infants and children and also we also provide the following facilities for your children:

Physiotherapy, we have well equipped Physiotherapy Department to serve children who need physiotherapy
EEG and EMG can be done for those children who need these tests.
We have access to 24 hour Laboratory, Radiology and Imaging services including, C.T. Scan and MRI.
Audiometry (congenital hearing loss test and hearing assessment) is performed by a trained health care professional.
